Amanda Hager, Practice Manager
Amanda has been working in the medical community for many years. She worked as a Home Health CNA for 3 years. She worked in Primary Care as a Front Desk Clerk and Front Office Coordinator before being promoted to Practice Manager. Amanda is a member of Community Care of WNC and is on the board for the WNC Medical Manager Association as Social Chair. In her free time she enjoys hiking, tubing on the French Broad River, and crocheting.
Heydin Otero, Medical Assistant
Heydin Otero has been a medical assistant since 2011. She was born and raised in Nicaragua and she is fluent in English and Spanish. She obtained a medical degree at the American University in Nicaragua and worked in rural areas of the country exposing her to a wide range of clinical scenarios as well as providing her with a broad clinical knowledge, which makes her a great asset to our practice. At Cannon Family Health, Heydin strives to develop a relationship with our patients, making them feel at ease. Heydin has travelled to over 35 countries and this experience has given her an insight on biodiversity, cultures, medicine, politics, and much more. Currently, her primary focus is spending as much quality time with her 4 year old son Maximillian and later pursuing a career as a PA.
Ryan Loll, Medical Assistant
Ryan has been working in the medical field since 2013 when he obtained his Emergency Medical Technician certification. Now that he works in family medicine, he enjoys working with patients to improve their overall health as well as practicing his Spanish speaking skills on the annual medical mission trip. In his free time, he likes to spend time outdoors hiking, kayaking and white water rafting.

EmILEE BYERLY, RECEPTIONIST
Emilee is a Western North Carolina Native, Born and Raised right here in Asheville. She has been working for Dr. Cannon for just over a year but she definitely calls Cannon Family Health her home. She love her job and all of our wonderful Patients. She loves to Workout, be outside and eat good food.
