My goal is to give patients the best possible care by blending modern evidenced-based practices with common sense and realistic goals. I believe in patient autonomy, and I encourage my patients to take an active role in their health. Good health begins with a healthy lifestyle.
I provide primary care for people of all ages, from newborns to seniors. This includes well and sick care, physical exams, urgent care, and management of chronic illnesses. If hospital services are necessary, I admit patients to Memorial Mission and Saint Joseph Hospitals. Patients may occasionally meet medical students from UNC and Duke, as I teach Family Medicine skills to students on rotation in my office.
We have a physician on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you have an urgent matter and need to reach someone after business hours please call 828-251-4848
